CEVA Logistics has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Fagioli Holding S.p.A. and its affiliates, known as Fagioli Group, subject to regulatory approvals, according to a company statement.

The transaction is intended to expand CEVA’s heavy lift and project cargo capabilities and allow it to cover the full project logistics value chain, from early development to final delivery.

Fagioli Group generated revenue of 216 million euros in 2024. The seller structure includes private equity firm QuattroR as the largest shareholder, with the remaining shares held by the family of long-time chairman Alessandro Fagioli.

CEVA said the acquisition would add about 450 employees from Fagioli Group, including more than 40 specialized engineers. Fagioli’s engineering expertise, heavy lift assets and experience in complex hauling, hoisting and installation are expected to complement CEVA’s existing project logistics operations, particularly in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.

Fagioli Group operates a fleet of owned and leased equipment, including crawler and gantry cranes, tower systems, strand jacks, self-propelled modular transporters, barges and ballasting pumps, which CEVA plans to integrate into its project logistics offering.

CEVA said Fagioli’s capabilities would also support its activities under the CEVA Almajdouie Logistics joint venture in the Gulf Cooperation Council region and its operations in East Africa following the acquisition of Spedag Interfreight in 2022.

CEVA Logistics is a France-headquartered company operating as a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain services, offering contract logistics and multimodal transport solutions through a global network of facilities and personnel. It is part of the CMA CGM Group.

Fagioli Holding S.p.A., operating as Fagioli Group, is an Italian-based project logistics and engineering company specializing in heavy lift, oversized cargo transport, and complex installation activities for industrial and infrastructure projects.
