During the period of April-2023 to February-2024, CGST Kutch Commissionerate has collected GST of Rs. 2800.70 Crores, compared to Rs. 2306.97 Crores collected during the corresponding period of previous financial year and attained an absolute growth of Rs. 493.73 Crores at a growth rate of around 21.40%. Once again, compared to All India Year revenue on Year growth rate of 11.7%, CGST Kutch Commissionerate has attained growth rate of 21.40%.
It is also noteworthy to mention that entire Financial Year 2022-23 revenue of Rs. 2694.89 Cr. Crores has been realised, rather exceeded by more than Rs. 100 Crores, by February-24 of current F.Y. 2023-24.
Moreover, this Commissionerate has collected average monthly revenue of Rs. 254.61 Cr in FY 2023-24 till February-2024, as compared to average monthly revenue of Rs. 224.57 Cr in FY 22-23, Rs.191.32 Cr in FY 21-22 & Rs.160.25 Cr in FY 20-21. Here again, there is a growth of 13.3% in the Monthly average revenue for the current financial year till Feb 24, compared to monthly average revenue of 2022-23, which is higher than All India Monthly average growth of 11.7%.
Return filling compliance amongst the top 1700 Taxpayers, which contribute more than 90% of the Commissionerate’s revenue, has surged to 94%, a notable increase from the initial 80%, at the beginning of the financial year 2023-24.
