Chowgule and Company’s Shipbuilding Division has delivered MV HANSA ANHOLT, the second vessel in a series of 8,500 DWT ships being constructed for German shipowner Leonhardt & Blumberg, from its Mangaluru shipyard.

The delivery follows the successful handover of the first vessel in the series and highlights the shipyard’s growing capabilities in building modern commercial vessels for international customers.

The project reflects the integration of engineering expertise, detailed planning, skilled shipbuilding and stringent quality standards throughout the construction process. Chowgule said the vessel’s completion demonstrates its focus on precision, safety, efficiency and adherence to international shipbuilding standards.

The delivery also strengthens the partnership between Chowgule and Leonhardt & Blumberg, with additional vessels in the series currently under construction.

With two vessels now delivered and more ships taking shape, Chowgule’s Mangaluru facility continues to expand its role as a global shipbuilding partner, delivering vessels tailored to the evolving requirements of the maritime industry.
