Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), in collaboration with Cargo Service Center (CSC), successfully hosted the “Air Cargo Trade Meet 2025” on August 2 at Poppy’s Vista Hotel, Avinashi Road, Tirupur. Reinforcing its role as a catalyst in Kerala’s air cargo development, CIAL led this initiative to foster dialogue and collaboration among industry stakeholders, with robust support from CSC, India’s leading air cargo handling company with over three decades of industry expertise.
The event brought together a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, trade partners, and industry leaders for an evening of insightful conversations and strategic engagement focused on the future of air cargo in southern India. The program began with a warm welcome and registration, followed by a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and opening address.
Key moments from the evening included:
- Opening remarks by Mr. Tushar Jani
- Floral felicitation of Chief Guest Dr. A. Sakthivel
- Presentation of appreciation plaques to honored guests
- Presentations from both CSC and CIAL, highlighting their innovations, recent initiatives, and strategic vision for strengthening southern India’s air cargo ecosystem
A notable highlight was the interactive session that enabled open discussion, addressed key trade queries, and emphasized a shared commitment to positioning Kerala and South India as leading air cargo hubs. The event concluded with an engaging networking session, a cocktail dinner, and distribution of mementos.
In a significant development, CSC also announced the launch of its cutting-edge TURANT app at Cochin International Airport. Designed to offer real-time tracking and full transparency for export and import cargo, the app ensures end-to-end visibility for both domestic and global stakeholders. Following its success at other major Indian airports, TURANT is expected to revolutionize cargo handling operations at CIAL, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and service delivery.
Commenting on the occasion, CSC leadership shared:
“Our long-standing partnership with CIAL is anchored in excellence, innovation, and customer focus. With the rollout of TURANT and continued operational investments, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing Kerala’s logistics sector and elevating India’s air cargo capabilities.”
As Kerala’s largest air cargo terminal continues to grow and evolve, CIAL and CSC remain dedicated to driving industry progress through technological innovation, seamless trade facilitation, and world-class service standards.
