CMA CGM has launched the KORA EXPRESS service, expanding its maritime network with a new route linking North Europe and West Africa. The service is designed to provide customers with faster transit times, improved schedule reliability and enhanced connectivity across one of the region’s key trade corridors.
The KORA EXPRESS service will connect major ports in North Europe with strategic destinations in West Africa, supporting the movement of containerised cargo, including consumer goods, industrial products, agricultural commodities and project cargo. The new offering is expected to strengthen trade links between the two regions while providing greater flexibility for exporters and importers.
By introducing the dedicated service, CMA CGM aims to meet growing customer demand for efficient and reliable shipping solutions amid increasing trade volumes between Europe and Africa. The service also enhances the carrier’s regional coverage, offering seamless connections to its wider global network through key transshipment hubs.
The launch forms part of CMA CGM’s ongoing strategy to expand its service portfolio and improve supply chain resilience for customers worldwide. With enhanced port coverage and regular sailings, the KORA EXPRESS service is expected to support economic growth, facilitate regional trade and reinforce CMA CGM’s presence in the North Europe–West Africa shipping market.
