Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), the market leader in India’s multimodal logistics sector, has taken a significant step forward in cold chain logistics by successfully executing its first-ever international temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipment.

CONCOR delivered a temperature-sensitive consignment for leading pharmaceutical company Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. to Singapore using its own 20-ft Hybrid Reefer container, marking a milestone with the first Bill of Lading ever issued by CONCOR for such a movement.

The cargo was stuffed at Sun Pharma’s manufacturing facility in the Dewas region of Madhya Pradesh and transported under strict temperature-controlled conditions. Leveraging modern data loggers, CONCOR provided the customer with end-to-end visibility, enabling real-time monitoring of temperature, location, and humidity throughout the journey. The consignment was successfully delivered in Singapore on 19 December 2025.

This landmark movement underscores CONCOR’s growing capabilities in handling high-value, temperature-sensitive cargo. It expands its end-to-end cold chain logistics services to overseas markets using its proprietary Hybrid Reefer container fleet.

CONCOR expressed its appreciation to Sun Pharma for its trust and patronage, noting that the successful shipment reinforces CONCOR’s commitment to building reliable, technology-driven cold chain solutions for India’s pharmaceutical and perishable cargo exporters.
