    COSCO SHIPPING Ports’ total throughput increased by 4.1% year-on-year to 35.6 million TEUs in the third quarter of 2023, while, the equity throughput increased by 2.7% year-on-year to 11.4 million TEUs. Moreover, the total throughput from subsidiaries decreased by 3.4% to 8.25 million TEUs.

    Additionally, the revenue of the Chinese port operator increased by 2.7% year-on-year in the third quarter of the year to US$358,902,000. At the same time, the company’s profit decreased by 4% US$83,312,000.

    Regarding the first nine months of 2023, the total throughput increased by 2.8% year-on-year to more than 100 million TEUs. The equity throughput increased by 1.8% to 32.16 million TEUs, while the total throughput from subsidiaries decreased by 5.1% to 22.97 million TEUs.

    Furthermore, COSCO SHIPPING Ports’ revenue decreased by 0.6% year-on-year to US$1,047,775,000, while the company’s profit declined by 11.7% to US$233,604,000.
