COSCO SHIPPING has marked a significant milestone with the successful maiden call of its Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessel MV Xiang Jiang Kou at PSA Singapore’s Pasir Panjang Automobile Terminal on January 21.

The vessel’s first call at Singapore underscores COSCO SHIPPING’s growing engagement with one of the world’s leading automotive and Ro-Ro hubs. To commemorate the occasion, colleagues from COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers (Southeast Asia) Pte. Ltd. boarded the vessel to gain first-hand exposure to onboard operations and Ro-Ro cargo handling processes.

During the visit, teams actively engaged with PSA representatives and stevedoring partners, fostering in-depth discussions on operational workflows, safety standards, and efficiency across the end-to-end Ro-Ro value chain at the terminal.

Such on-site engagements play a vital role in strengthening operational alignment, enhancing knowledge sharing, and reinforcing collaboration among all stakeholders involved in Ro-Ro operations. The maiden call of MV Xiang Jiang Kou reflects COSCO SHIPPING’s continued commitment to operational excellence and strong partnerships across key global ports.
