Dahej Port has achieved a remarkable milestone, dispatching 30,965 metric tonnes (MT) of cargo in a single 24-hour period—surpassing its previous record of 29,337 MT. This record-breaking performance was achieved through the coordinated efforts of the port operations team and logistics partners.

During this period, a total of 872 trucks efficiently moved cargo, reflecting a significant increase in operational throughput and highlighting the port’s growing capacity to handle high-volume shipments. The achievement underscores Dahej Port’s commitment to streamlined cargo movement, efficiency, and service excellence for its customers.

Port officials expressed their pride in the achievement, noting that continuous investments in infrastructure, technology, and manpower have played a crucial role in enabling such performance. “This milestone is a testament to our team’s dedication and the trust our customers place in us,” said a senior port representative.

The record also signals enhanced supply chain reliability for industries relying on the port, including chemicals, bulk materials, and containerized cargo, supporting both domestic distribution and international exports.

With this achievement, Dahej Port continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s leading logistics hubs, demonstrating its capability to manage high cargo volumes while maintaining operational excellence.
