Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal (DBGT) marked a significant milestone with the successful handling of the Maiden Voyage of M.V. Lan Hai Zhi Yuan on its Singapore service at the terminal on August 1, 2026.
The maiden call underscores DBGT’s continued efforts to strengthen regional and international container connectivity while enhancing trade links through the Port of V.O. Chidambaranar.
DBGT acknowledged the support and collaboration of Ocean Network Express (ONE Line) for its container support, Samudera Shipping Line as the vessel operator, United Liner Shipping Services as the vessel agent, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, its valued customers, and all stakeholders whose continued trust and partnership contributed to the successful maiden call.
The terminal stated that the milestone reflects its commitment to delivering reliable, efficient, and world-class container handling services while supporting the growing logistics and maritime trade ecosystem in southern India.
