    Shri Ajit Kumar Panda, IRSME, has assumed charge as the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) with effect from August 1, 2026.

    Before taking over as CMD, Shri Panda served as Director (Projects & Services) at CONCOR, where he played a key role in driving the company’s infrastructure development and service expansion initiatives.

    Soon after assuming office, Shri Panda held a detailed review meeting with the company’s senior management, including Regional Heads, to discuss operational priorities, ongoing projects, and the strategic roadmap for the organization.

    A seasoned professional with extensive experience in logistics, infrastructure development, and railway operations, Shri Panda is expected to lead CONCOR into its next phase of growth. His appointment is anticipated to further strengthen the company’s leadership in India’s multimodal logistics sector while accelerating initiatives in operational excellence, digital transformation, infrastructure expansion, and sustainable logistics.

    Building on the strong foundation established over the years, CONCOR aims to enhance supply chain efficiency, expand its service capabilities, and continue supporting India’s growing trade and logistics ecosystem.
