    Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla has created history by achieving the fastest-ever handling of 125 Million Metric Tons (MMT) of cargo in the current financial year 2025–26, reaffirming its leadership position among India’s Major Ports.

    Remarkably, the milestone has been achieved with 72 days still remaining in the financial year, positioning the Port to set a new all-time record in total cargo handling by the end of FY 2025–26.

    This outstanding performance underscores the Port’s operational excellence, robust infrastructure, meticulous planning, and seamless coordination among stakeholders, firmly establishing Deendayal Port Authority as a front-runner in India’s maritime sector.

    Congratulating the entire Port fraternity on this landmark achievement, Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, Deendayal Port Authority, extended his heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders, port users, trade unions, officers, employees, and shramiks for their unwavering dedication, cooperation, and collective efforts in accomplishing this historic feat.
