Delhivery, India’s largest fully integrated logistics provider, has rolled out its on-demand intracity shipping service in Mumbai and Hyderabad, expanding its rapid local delivery footprint. The service is available through the Delhivery Direct app and is aimed at small businesses, direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, and individual users with immediate local shipping needs.
A key highlight of the offering is a 15-minute pickup window, enabling users to schedule quick collections soon after booking. The service connects commercial and residential hubs across both metros and offers real-time shipment tracking.
Customers can select from multiple vehicle options based on shipment size, ranging from two-wheelers for small parcels to three- and four-wheeler vehicles for larger consignments.
Commenting on the launch, Nikhil Vij, Head of Intracity Business at Delhivery, said the addition of Mumbai and Hyderabad takes the company’s intracity presence to five key cities, including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. He added that Delhivery will continue investing to expand the service to more cities to meet growing demand.
Beyond intracity deliveries, the Delhivery Direct app also supports intercity shipments, covering over 18,850 pincodes nationwide, combining local on-demand speed with Delhivery’s extensive pan-India logistics network. The app is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
