The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd. (DFCCIL) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the development of modern Bulk Cement Handling Terminals along its high-capacity freight network. The initiative aims to create efficient, technology-driven cement logistics hubs that can be established fully or partially on DFCCIL-owned land.

The proposed terminals are expected to harness the speed, capacity, and reliability of DFCCIL’s freight corridors, enabling cleaner and faster movement of cement—one of India’s most critical bulk commodities. The move aligns with DFCCIL’s strategy to promote multimodal logistics efficiency and attract private-sector participation in rail-based cargo infrastructure.

DFCCIL will assess all EOI submissions for feasibility. Subsequently, an open tender will be issued, allowing participation from all eligible bidders, including those who did not take part in the EOI stage.

    Key Details:

EOI Submission Deadline: 24:00 hrs, 31 March 2026

    Email for Submissions: roshansingh@dfcc.co.in

Additional Information: Available on DFCCIL’s official website

The initiative is expected to catalyse new investments in cement logistics, reduce handling time, and support India’s broader push toward more sustainable freight movement.
