Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) intensified its push to strengthen freight operations as S. P. Verma, General Manager (Business Development & Business Analytics), conducted a detailed inspection of key logistics facilities in New Kanpur.

The review covered critical infrastructure including the crew lobby, New Kanpur Station, and the Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal (GCT) at Bhaupur. The visit aimed at assessing operational preparedness, infrastructure readiness, and service efficiency across the corridor.

During the inspection, special emphasis was placed on evaluating cargo handling capacity, rail connectivity, turnaround time, and the seamless integration of logistics operations. These factors are central to ensuring smooth and efficient freight movement along the Dedicated Freight Corridor.

Verma also engaged with on-ground teams to gain first-hand insights into operational challenges and opportunities. Discussions focused on streamlining processes and enhancing customer-centric service delivery, aligning with the broader objective of improving logistics performance.
