Dhamra Port has commenced commercial operations through its newly commissioned mechanised loading system at Export Terminal Berth 4, marking a significant addition to the port’s bulk cargo handling capabilities.
The milestone was achieved with the successful handling of MV APJ JAOUAD, the first commercial vessel to be handled through the newly operational system.
The commissioning of the mechanised loading facility is expected to enhance operational efficiency, improve vessel turnaround and strengthen Dhamra Port’s ability to handle growing volumes of bulk cargo.
The development reflects the continued focus of Adani Ports and SEZ on investing in advanced port infrastructure and expanding capabilities to support India’s growing trade and logistics requirements.
With the addition of the new mechanised loading system, Dhamra Port further strengthens its position as an important gateway for bulk cargo movement and maritime trade on India’s eastern coast.
