Diamond Line, part of COSCO Shipping Lines, is adding Wilhelmshaven to its Germany Baltic Express (GBX) service, expanding the service’s coverage of Northern European ports.
The GBX operates as a butterfly service, with one loop connecting Germany with Finland and the other linking Germany with Poland and Lithuania. The revised rotation will include Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Hamburg, Kotka, Helsinki, Klaipėda and Gdynia.
The updated rotation is:
Bremerhaven – Wilhelmshaven – Hamburg – Kotka – Helsinki – Bremerhaven – Hamburg – Klaipėda – Gdynia – Bremerhaven
The addition of Wilhelmshaven gives the service another German gateway and strengthens connectivity between Germany and the Baltic markets, including Finland, Lithuania and Poland.
