The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and transportation infrastructure consulting firm RITES have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on metro projects domestically and internationally. This strategic partnership aims to pool resources and expertise in managing and maintaining metro systems.

According to a press release, the collaboration will focus on services such as general consultancy, project management, detailed design, feasibility studies and more. The goal is to offer world-class urban transit solutions and tap into both domestic and global
    opportunities in the metro sector.

Aims to expand metro operations domestically and globally.

This partnership aligns with RITES’s ongoing international expansion efforts under its “RITES Videsh” initiative. With their combined strengths in metro rail operations and transportation infrastructure, DMRC and RITES are well-positioned to capitalise on emerging opportunities in the transit system space.
