dnata is moving ahead with the development of its new cargo handling facility at Zurich Airport, marking a significant expansion of the company’s air freight infrastructure in Switzerland.

The new facility is designed to enhance cargo processing capacity and improve operational efficiency at one of Europe’s key aviation gateways. Once completed, the centre will be equipped with advanced handling systems and modern infrastructure to support the growing volumes of international air freight moving through Zurich.

dnata said the project is progressing on schedule and forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen cargo operations across major global logistics hubs. The facility will handle a wide range of shipments, including general cargo, pharmaceuticals, perishables and high-value goods.

Zurich Airport has witnessed steady demand for air freight services, supported by Switzerland’s strong pharmaceutical, precision engineering and high-tech manufacturing sectors. The new handling centre is expected to provide airlines and freight forwarders with faster processing times and improved cargo handling capabilities.

By investing in modern infrastructure at Zurich Airport, dnata aims to enhance service quality while supporting the long-term growth of the region’s air cargo sector.
