DP World is expanding its inland transport and logistics network in India to strengthen trade connectivity with the United Arab Emirates, aiming to improve cargo movement efficiency and reduce end-to-end transit times.

The expansion focuses on enhancing multimodal logistics solutions that integrate ports, rail, and road connectivity, enabling smoother movement of containers between industrial hubs and export gateways. The initiative is expected to support growing trade volumes between India and the UAE across sectors such as engineering goods, textiles, electronics, perishables, and chemicals.

By improving inland logistics infrastructure, DP World aims to reduce congestion at ports, optimize supply chains, and provide more predictable delivery schedules for exporters and importers. The company is also strengthening warehousing, distribution centers, and freight forwarding capabilities to support integrated trade flows.

Industry observers say the move reflects rising bilateral trade momentum and increasing demand for efficient logistics solutions between the two economies. The expansion is expected to further solidify India–UAE trade corridors and enhance regional supply chain resilience.
