Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) Kandla has created history by handling 40 ships in just 24 hours, surpassing its previous record of 38 vessels set in December 2023. The achievement reinforces its position as India’s largest and most efficient port.
The milestone was made possible through exceptional coordination, flawless marine and traffic operations, and the dedicated efforts of Team DPA. The port’s ability to manage complex, high-volume vessel movements with precision highlights its growing operational strength.
DPA Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh expressed gratitude to stakeholders, port users, trade unions, employees and shramiks for their support. He also lauded the Traffic Manager, Deputy Conservator, operational teams and DPA Pilots for their outstanding commitment in achieving this landmark feat.
