Global logistics provider DSV has announced plans to sell its United States trucking operations to UTAC, a North American transport and logistics firm. The move is part of DSV’s strategy to streamline its operations and focus on core global logistics services.

DSV said the sale will allow it to optimize resources, improve operational efficiency, and concentrate on expanding its freight forwarding and supply chain solutions globally. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

A DSV spokesperson commented, “This transaction aligns with our long-term strategy to strengthen our global network while ensuring the best outcomes for our customers and employees.”

UTAC, which operates an extensive trucking and logistics network across the US, will integrate DSV’s assets to enhance its service offerings and expand market reach. The deal is expected to close in the coming months, subject to regulatory approvals.
