Emirates SkyCargo has expanded its cargo distribution capabilities across the United States through a new integration with the Pelicargo digital logistics platform, strengthening its access to freight forwarders and cargo agents in the world’s largest air cargo market.

The partnership enables Emirates SkyCargo’s services, schedules, and booking capabilities to be directly accessed through Pelicargo’s online platform, improving cargo visibility and streamlining shipment management for customers across the US. The move is expected to simplify cargo booking processes and enhance connectivity for exporters and logistics providers using Emirates’ global network.

The carrier said the collaboration forms part of its broader digital transformation strategy aimed at improving customer experience and expanding market reach through technology-driven cargo solutions. By leveraging Pelicargo’s distribution network, Emirates SkyCargo aims to increase engagement with small and medium-sized freight forwarders while strengthening its position in key US cargo corridors.

Industry sources noted that digital cargo marketplaces and booking platforms are becoming increasingly important in the air freight sector as airlines seek to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and provide real-time shipment access to customers. The integration is also expected to support faster cargo processing and improved operational transparency.

The US remains one of Emirates SkyCargo’s largest markets, with strong demand for pharmaceuticals, electronics, perishables, e-commerce goods, and high-value industrial cargo moving between North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

The expansion comes amid continued growth in global air cargo demand and increasing competition among airlines to strengthen digital logistics ecosystems. Emirates SkyCargo has been investing heavily in technology upgrades, specialized cargo handling, and network expansion as part of its long-term growth strategy.

Market analysts said the partnership could help Emirates SkyCargo further strengthen its foothold in the competitive US air freight sector by improving accessibility and offering more seamless booking options for logistics customers.
