The newly set-up Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), a Central University, established
through an Act of Parliament, will celebrate its first-ever technological and management festival – Epitome 23.

The two days fest will be held on March 25 and March 26 at GSV’s campus currently located at the National Academy of Indian Railways.

“Epitome’23 will showcase examples of unique ideas and innovations that will eventually boost the future of the Indian logistics and transportation sector,” said professor Manoj Choudhary while addressing media persons here on Monday.

With over 20 events ranging from hackathons, and workshops (NIRMAN, ethical hacking, simulation using MATLAB), the fest will also include guest lectures from top subject-matter experts in the areas. There will also be tech – games, and management conclave that will be held as part of the fest.

“Epitome is a perfect place to instill the culture and amalgamation of technology, management and entrepreneurship into the young minds and inspire them to solve the problems being faced today by the Indian transport and logistics sector,” he said.

Top industry players like Airbus, IBM, and Ultratech are supporting the fest. “They will deliver keynote talks, showcasing their technologies and collaborative potential with our university,” he said.

“Top representatives from the government sector including MSME will present their views in a series of sessions over the two days,” he said, adding that a large number of experts and delegates are expected to attend the fest along with 700 plus students of the university.

GSV is a Central University sponsored by the Ministry of Railways being developed as a first-of-its-kind university with the mandate to focus on transport-related education, multidisciplinary research and training.
