Godrej Enterprises Group’s Storage Solutions business expects that 15 per cent of its revenue growth will be driven by quick commerce, e-commerce, and manufacturing sectors.

The company is strategically enhancing its capabilities to meet the escalating needs of the rapidly expanding quick commerce market, building upon its established presence in e-commerce, retail, and third-party logistics (3PL).

Vikas Choudaha, business head of storage solutions, highlighted the increasing demand for efficient storage solutions. He pointed to the projected addition of over 10 million sq. ft. of mother hubs by startups and e-commerce players, along with an anticipated surge of over 3,000 dark stores powering the quick commerce boom by next year.

‘At Godrej, we are expanding our capabilities to not only support the e-commerce industry with large-format warehouses but also to cater to the agile solutions for dark stores in tier 1 & 2 cities to accelerate deliveries and meet the demands of the fast-growing quick-commerce market,’ added Choudaha. ‘Our goal is not just to support this shift, but to actively shape the future of how India stores, moves, and delivers.’

The company anticipates a robust growth of over 25 per cent in the storage solutions segment driven solely by the quick commerce demand within the next 12-18 months.
