Hapag-Lloyd is set to launch its ODeX online invoice and payment portal in Angola, expanding the carrier’s digital services for customers in the country. The platform is designed to provide faster access to invoices and quicker payment confirmations.

Through ODeX, customers will be able to view and monitor outstanding invoices in one place, download invoices at any time and receive updates on payment status. The platform will also allow users to track invoices and arrival notices through a centralised online interface.

The system will support payments through an ODeX-generated payment code, which customers can use for bank payments or transfers. This is intended to facilitate faster confirmation once payments are completed.

The rollout forms part of Hapag-Lloyd’s wider effort to digitise invoice and payment processes. ODeX is already available to Hapag-Lloyd customers in several markets, with the carrier continuing to expand the platform to additional countries.

Hapag-Lloyd is expected to provide registration details and a customer user guide for Angolan customers ahead of the launch. The company operates offices and customer-service functions across Angola, including Luanda, Lobito, Namibe, Soyo and Cabinda.
