HMM has announced an update to its East–West service network, strengthening connectivity across the major trade lanes linking Asia with Europe, North America and the Middle East. The enhanced network is scheduled to be launched in April 2026.
For 2026, HMM confirmed that port rotations will continue to follow the established routing around the Cape of Good Hope, ensuring service continuity and operational stability amid ongoing geopolitical and security considerations.
The company stated that it is closely monitoring developments in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Suez Canal. HMM emphasised that it remains committed to keeping customers informed and will provide timely communication and necessary support should any adjustments to its East–West services become necessary.
With this network update, HMM aims to reinforce schedule reliability, maintain supply chain resilience and continue delivering dependable global liner services despite challenging operating conditions.
