    Hong Kong Air Cargo announced a new e-commerce route, enhancing connectivity between Hong Kong and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

    The latest addition includes two weekly all-cargo flights, operated with an Airbus A330-200F aircraft, with departures from Hong Kong International Airport to King Khalid International Airport every Monday and Sunday, says an official release from Hong Kong Air Cargo.

    “The inaugural flight embarked on its journey from Hong Kong International Airport at 15:45 HKT on March 3, arriving at King Khalid International Airport at 23:30 local time. This new route marks our network’s third Middle Eastern destination, following successful launches to Istanbul and Dubai.”

    Clifford Hung, President and Chief Operations Officer, Hong Kong Air Cargo says: “With the introduction of our Riyadh route, we are excited to enhance our economic and trade connections with Saudi Arabia, a key nation in the Middle East region. This expansion is part of our strategic vision to maintain Hong Kong’s reputation as a premier air cargo logistics platform between Mainland China and the global market and a world-class international air cargo hub.”

    Hong Kong Air Cargo operates flights to various charter and scheduled destinations with five Airbus A330-200F wide-body freighters, and the destinations include Almaty, Bangkok, Chennai, Delhi, Dhaka, Hanoi, Istanbul, Manila, Milan, Osaka, Shanghai, Singapore and Taipei.
