Incheon Port Authority (IPA) is expanding its maritime network to India and Indonesia as global supply chains diversify away from China. The port has launched its first direct container service to India, the Far East‑India Express (FIE), aiming to tap into growing trade between South Korea and these emerging markets.
This strategic shift comes as companies increasingly adopt the “China +1” sourcing approach, seeking to reduce reliance on Chinese manufacturing and logistics hubs.
