Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. on Thursday, signed a 30 year concession agreement with Noida International Airport to set up fuel stations at three key locations within the airport premises. According to a press release, this partnership will help Noida Airport’s goal of a smooth and effective aviation hub by guaranteeing continuous access to first-rate fuelling services at the airport.
“Indian Oil is proud to join hands with Noida International Airport to create an unparalleled experience for travelers. This collaboration underscores our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer convenience. By setting up these fuel stations, we are not only serving customers but also supporting the region’s growing infrastructural requirements,” said Sumeet Munshi, divisional retail sales head of Noida divisional office, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
The press release further said that the fuel stations will be designed to adhere to global standards of safety and operational excellence in line with NIA’s vision of creating a world-class airport for Northern India.
The agreement encompasses the establishment and operation of three fuel stations:
- Near the main western access road for passengers
- One airside for airport operations.
- Near the eastern cargo precinct
The airport will begin operations with a total of 30 flights to different locations across the globe on April 17, 2025. During the first phase, three flights would serve overseas destinations and 25 flights would connect important domestic destinations. There will also be two flights specifically for cargo services.
