Interasia Lines has launched its new India–East Africa Express Service (IEX), strengthening direct maritime connectivity between West India and key East African markets.

The new service connects Nhava Sheva and Mundra with Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Mombasa, Kenya, offering shippers enhanced connectivity and additional scheduling options.

The IEX will operate on a 56-day butterfly-loop rotation covering Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Dar es Salaam – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Mombasa – Nhava Sheva.

Interasia Lines said the new service marks a significant expansion beyond its core Intra-Asia and Indian subcontinent network. The company is contributing one vessel to the joint service, further supporting trade flows between West India and East Africa.
