Isuzu Motors India has reached a major milestone by becoming the leading exporter of commercial vehicles from the country in FY2024-25. The company shipped 20,312 units during the year, showing a strong 24% increase compared to the 16,329 units exported in the previous financial year. This growth highlights Isuzu’s steady progress in the export market, building on its consistent presence among the top three CV exporters from India in recent years.

Isuzu Motors India’s manufacturing plant in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, plays a key role in the brand’s global operations. The facility is equipped to produce both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles, serving several markets across Asia and the Middle East, including countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. With a strong focus on pickups, Isuzu continues to strengthen its global reach by using India as a hub for both local and international demand. In addition to exports, the company has been expanding its domestic dealership network to better connect with customers across the country. The recent production of its 100,000th vehicle at the Sri City plant reflects Isuzu’s long-term vision and commitment to the Indian market.

Rajesh Mittal, President & Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, commented: “This milestone reinforces the strength of Isuzu’s global manufacturing philosophy—Isuzu Monozukuri. Every vehicle we produce in India is built to the same global standards that define the Isuzu brand worldwide. Our Sri City facility is powered by a talented and dedicated workforce. These ‘Made-in-India’ vehicles are a true reflection of our robust manufacturing processes, proven product DNA and our unwavering commitment to serving both domestic and international markets with pride and consistency.”
