The Multipurpose Clean Cargo Terminal at Paradip Port, operated by JM Baxi Group, has achieved its highest-ever single-day cargo handling performance, marking a significant operational milestone.

On 3 February 2026, the terminal handled 37,783 metric tonnes of cargo, comprising steel slabs and fertilizer, setting a new benchmark for daily throughput at the facility.

A key highlight of the achievement was the discharge of 20,600 metric tonnes of cargo from the vessel MV GH Glory, surpassing the previous single-day record of 17,716 metric tonnes, which had been set during operations involving the vessel MV African Baza.

The milestone reflects the terminal’s operational efficiency, strong coordination among stakeholders, and seamless logistics management. It also underscores the commitment and dedication of the JM Baxi operational teams in delivering consistent performance at one of India’s key maritime gateways.

The company acknowledged the continued support of its partners and the wider trade community, noting that such collaborations play a vital role in enhancing productivity and raising operational standards in port logistics.
