JSW Infrastructure handled 31 million tonnes of cargo in the first quarter of FY2027, maintaining steady momentum across its integrated ports and logistics network.
The company said the quarter reflected the resilience of its diversified ports-to-logistics platform, supported by robust operations, strategic capacity additions and multimodal connectivity.
During the quarter, JSW Infrastructure expanded capacities at South West Port, Goa, and Mangalore Container Terminal, while also commencing operations at the Arakkonam Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal. The company is simultaneously advancing several greenfield projects aimed at strengthening its logistics network and creating new trade opportunities.
The capacity additions are part of JSW Infrastructure’s broader strategy to improve network efficiency and provide integrated cargo movement solutions across ports, terminals and hinterland logistics.
JSW Infrastructure said it remains focused on achieving its long-term target of 400 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of cargo-handling capacity by FY2030 or earlier.
The company is positioning its expansion around integrated maritime and logistics infrastructure, with an emphasis on operational efficiency, seamless multimodal connectivity and responsible capacity creation to support India’s growing trade requirements.
