Kale Logistics Solutions has kicked off KaiTETHON 2026, a 48‑hour AI‑centric hackathon aimed at spurring innovation in the air and maritime logistics sectors. The event, held from 4–7 February 2026 in Mumbai, brought together students, start‑ups and industry professionals to develop AI‑powered solutions for real‑world industry challenges.
Participants competed across four key themes including port community systems, airport cargo community systems, sales and business operations, and talent & human resources. More than 300 individuals registered for the event, with a final shortlist of 50 participants forming 10 teams selected to compete. Each team received support from mentors, and solutions were evaluated by an independent panel of judges featuring leaders in AI and tech investment.
The winning team, Logicode, impressed judges with PLACI — an AI‑powered Pre‑Loading Advance Cargo Information analyst that detects data anomalies and supports strategic decision‑making. Selected solutions are slated for further development under Kale’s support, as the company aims to promote stronger integration of AI within logistics workflows.
Kale says this is the first edition of what it plans to make an annual innovation initiative, underscoring its commitment to nurturing talent and fostering technology adoption in logistics ecosystems.
