    Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL) celebrated the 122nd birth anniversary of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar with great reverence. The event was marked by a ceremonial garlanding of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar’s statue by Smt. J.P. Irene Cynthia, IAS, Managing Director of KPL, along with officials and employees of KPL. Members of the Self-Help Group Women also participated in the function, adding to the solemnity of the occasion

    In conjunction with the anniversary celebrations, KPL organized a comprehensive medical camp for general health checkups, eye examinations and dental care at Athipattu village on 15th July 2024. The camp was open to the public from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, benefitting approximately 500 residents of the village. Smt. J.P. Irene Cynthia, IAS, Managing Director, along with KPL officials was present at the camp to oversee the proceedings and interacted with the beneficiaries.  The President and representatives of Athipattu Panchayat also participated in the program.

    The medical camp was a collaborative effort, conducted jointly by Sugam Hospital, Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital and Dentistry Dental Hospital. The initiative was highly appreciated by the local community, reflecting KPL’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
