LOT Polish Airlines is expanding its Southeast Asian network with new direct services from Warsaw to Bangkok and Hanoi, creating additional belly cargo capacity and strengthening air freight connectivity between the region and Europe.
The Warsaw–Bangkok service is scheduled to begin on October 7, 2026, while the Warsaw–Hanoi route will launch on March 31, 2027. The new connections will provide exporters, importers and freight forwarders in Thailand and Vietnam with additional options for moving cargo to Poland and onward destinations across Europe.
Group Concorde, LOT Cargo’s GSSA in Thailand and Vietnam, will support the commercial rollout of the new services. Its local sales teams and relationships with freight forwarders are expected to help develop cargo volumes and establish sustainable freight flows on the new routes.
Through LOT’s Warsaw hub, cargo from Bangkok and Hanoi will gain onward connections to destinations across Central, Eastern and Western Europe. The services will also provide additional options for Europe-origin cargo moving to Thailand and Vietnam.
The expansion comes as Thailand and Vietnam continue to strengthen their positions as major manufacturing and export centres in Southeast Asia. Additional air cargo capacity could support growing flows of electronics, automotive products, high-value manufactured goods and other time-sensitive shipments between Asia and Europe.
For LOT Cargo, the new routes represent an opportunity to expand its presence in two strategically important Southeast Asian markets while strengthening its broader Asia-Europe cargo network.
