    A joint media delegation from Meghalaya and Sikkim, currently on a press tour of Kerala organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), visited the Cochin Port Authority to gain insights into port operations, infrastructure, logistics and maritime connectivity.

    Sri Satish Honnakkatte, Deputy Chairperson, Cochin Port Authority, welcomed the delegation and interacted with the visiting media representatives, highlighting the role of Cochin Port in facilitating trade, strengthening logistics networks and enhancing maritime connectivity.

    Heads of Departments and senior officials of the Cochin Port Authority were also present during the interaction.

    As part of the visit, the delegation toured key operational areas of Cochin Port through the backwaters and visited Ernakulam Wharf, providing the media representatives with an overview of the port’s operational facilities and activities.
