In the esteemed presence of Jyotiraditya Scindia, Hon’ble Minister for Communications, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, marking a key step towards advancing technology-enabled and citizen-centric governance.

The agreement was formalised between Shri B. Kasiviswanathan IRSME, Chairperson of Cochin Port Authority; Shri G. Sandeep Kumar Goud, Deputy Controller General of Communication Accounts (Dy. CGCA), Department of Telecommunications; and Shri Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather, Resident Commissioner, representing the Government of Goa.

The MoU facilitates the adoption of SAMPANN (System for Accounting and Management of Pension), a digital platform designed to streamline pension processing and financial management.

This initiative is expected to strengthen efficiency, transparency, and accountability in service delivery, aligning with the government’s broader vision of leveraging digital technologies to enhance governance and improve citizen services.
