MSC has announced changes to three of its intra-Australasia shipping services as part of an update to its regional network.

The service adjustments are aimed at improving connectivity between key ports across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Australasian region, while aligning vessel capacity with changing cargo demand.

The revised services are expected to provide shippers with updated port coverage and sailing schedules, giving exporters and importers greater options for moving containerised cargo within the region.

MSC continues to adjust its regional networks in response to changes in trade flows, vessel availability and customer requirements. Service restructuring can help carriers optimise fleet deployment and improve schedule reliability across key trade lanes.

The changes will affect vessel rotations and operational schedules on the three services, with customers advised to review the updated port calls and sailing arrangements when planning shipments.

The latest network update reflects MSC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its intra-regional offering and maintain efficient connections across the Australasian container market.
