Delhivery, India’s leading fully-integrated logistics service provider, has appointed Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, as a NonExecutive Director on its Board. This strategic move is expected to enhance Delhivery’s leadership with her extensive experience in high-growth businesses and the healthcare sector.
Namita Thapar is a well-known leader in the Indian pharmaceutical industry, serving as the CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ India business, which generates an annual revenue of approximately ₹8,000 crore. With over 10,000 employees and a presence in 70+ countries, Emcure has been a major player in the global pharmaceutical landscape. Namita, an MBA graduate from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, also gained valuable corporate experience during her tenure at Guidant Corporation in the United States.
Beyond her corporate leadership, Namita is widely recognized as one of the Sharks on the popular TV show Shark Tank India, where she has played a crucial role in supporting and mentoring Indian startups. Her deep understanding of scaling businesses, financial strategy, and innovation makes her an invaluable addition to Delhivery’s Board.
