Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has secured two new long-term contracts with Petrobras for AHTS vessels Skandi Fluminense and Skandi Lifter.

The latest wins bring DOF’s total count of Petrobras-contracted AHTS vessels to seven.

Both vessels have been awarded four-year contracts under the same competitive Petrobras tender that previously resulted in awards for five other DOF AHTS vessels: Skandi Logger, Skandi Iguaçu, Skandi Angra, Skandi Paraty, and Skandi Urca.

The 2007-built Skandi Fluminense is Brazilian-flagged and is expected to begin its contract in January 2026. Skandi Lifter, built in 2009 and currently foreign-flagged, will be reflagged under the Brazilian registry ahead of its February 2026 start date.

The two contracts have a combined value of more than $220m.
