Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal (NSFT), 50% owned by CMA Terminals, has achieved its highest-ever productivity levels, recording 145 moves per hour in berth productivity and 156 moves per hour in ship productivity during the handling of APL LE HAVRE, operated by CMA CGM on the INDAMEX Service.
The vessel operation involved a significant move exchange of 5,643 TEUs, marking a new benchmark for operational performance at the terminal.
NSFT attributed the achievement to precise vessel planning, seamless coordination among operational teams, strong equipment performance and disciplined execution across terminal activities.
The latest milestone underscores NSFT’s continued focus on operational efficiency and productivity improvement, strengthening its capabilities in handling large-scale container vessel operations at Nhava Sheva.
The record productivity also highlights the growing importance of technology, coordinated planning and efficient terminal processes in enhancing vessel turnaround and supporting India’s expanding container trade.
