Ocean Network Express (ONE) will expand its Australia service portfolio by leveraging Maersk’s Qilin network under their Gemini Cooperation framework, offering customers improved connectivity between Asia and Australia. The enhancement is designed to strengthen trade links while providing more flexible and reliable shipping options for importers and exporters across the region.
The revised network will give ONE customers access to a broader range of Australian ports through Maersk-operated services, improving transit times and increasing port coverage. By integrating with the Qilin service, ONE aims to optimise vessel deployment and enhance schedule reliability amid growing demand on Asia–Australia trade routes.
The expanded offering is expected to support key Australian gateways with more seamless connections from major Asian export hubs, enabling faster cargo movement and greater supply chain resilience. The collaboration also reflects the carriers’ strategy of maximising network efficiency through shared vessel capacity and coordinated service planning.
ONE said the service enhancement reinforces its commitment to providing customers with wider market access and dependable shipping solutions, while strengthening its presence in the Australia trade through closer operational cooperation with Maersk.
