    Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL) has introduced the CIP1 & CIP2 Services in order to strengthen its China, Indonesia and Philippines network coverage.

    CIP1 & CIP2 will establish direct connections among multiple ports in China, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore.

    The rotation for CIP1 will be as follows:

    Shanghai – Ningbo – Quanzhou – Shantou – Shekou – Nansha – Jakarta – Surabaya – Davao – Shanghai

    The rotation for CIP2 will be as follows:

    Xingang – Dalian – Lianyungang – Qingdao – Singapore – Jakarta – Surabaya – Manila – Xingang

    OOCL reported that the first sailings of CIP1 and CIP2 are scheduled to start from Shanghai and Xingang on 29 December 2023 respectively.

    In October last month, OOCL won the Best Shipping Line – Intra-Asia’s title at the 2023 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards’ ceremony.

    More recently, KPI OceanConnect, a marine energy solutions provider, announced the successful sale and supply of a B24 biofuel blend to OOCL.
