Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has secured the prestigious ISO 45001:2018 certification, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining international standards in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) across all port operations.

The certification has been issued by Quality Austria Central Asia Pvt. Ltd. (Cert. No. IND/OHSMS/2026/E-19) and is accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB). It covers comprehensive deep-water seaport management activities, including cargo handling, container movement, import–export operations, and warehousing services.

The ISO 45001:2018 certificate will remain valid until 17 February 2029, subject to periodic surveillance audits and continuous compliance with evolving standards.

The milestone underscores PPA’s proactive approach toward creating a safe, efficient, and future-ready maritime ecosystem. The achievement reflects the collective efforts of its workforce and management in fostering a strong safety culture while ensuring operational excellence at one of India’s key gateway ports.
