Paradip Port Authority (PPA), in collaboration with CEMS, has successfully completed the first batch of its CSR-funded skill development initiative aimed at empowering youth from Odisha.

Under the programme, 25 candidates received certificates in Supply Chain Management, equipping them with industry-relevant skills for careers in the maritime and logistics sectors. The initiative focuses on creating employment opportunities in key logistics hubs such as Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bengaluru.

The certificate distribution ceremony was attended by Shri P.L. Haranadh, IRTS, Chairman, PPA, along with Heads of Departments and senior officials of Paradip Port. Commander Gopi Krishna Sivvam, IN (Retd.), Chief Operating Officer of CEMS, was also present with his team.

The programme is designed to build a strong talent pipeline by providing industry-ready training, supporting both regional youth development and the growing needs of India’s logistics and maritime industries.
