Earlier this month, Pacific International Lines (PIL) reaffirmed its strong relationships with two of its key partners—C.H. Robinson and Toll Global Forwarding (Toll Group)—by presenting each of them with a 1:200 scale vessel model of Kota Emerald.
Kota Emerald is PIL’s second 14,000-TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessel, equipped with advanced energy-saving features designed to reduce the company’s carbon footprint and support sustainable shipping.
C.H. Robinson, one of the world’s largest logistics platforms, has been a trusted partner of PIL for more than two decades. Together, the two companies have worked closely on freight transportation and logistics solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
Toll Global Forwarding, part of the Toll Group founded in Australia over 130 years ago, has also been a valued partner of PIL for more than 15 years. PIL supports Toll’s freight forwarding and supply chain management services along the Australia–New Zealand trade lanes.
“These partnerships are built on close collaboration and a shared commitment to service excellence,” said Lionel Chatelet, Chief Commercial Officer of PIL. “The vessel models are a symbol of what we have achieved together and our ongoing journey ahead.”
As a people-centric shipping line with a strong customer-first ethos, PIL emphasized its gratitude to both partners and expressed confidence in further strengthening these collaborations in the years to come.
