Qatar Airways Cargo has launched FlexTemp, a new temperature-controlled solution designed to enhance the transport of pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments across its global network.

The product offers flexible temperature ranges tailored to the specific requirements of sensitive cargo, ensuring product integrity throughout transit. It is aimed at supporting the growing demand for reliable cold chain logistics, particularly for vaccines, biologics, and other high-value medical supplies.

FlexTemp is integrated into the airline’s existing pharma logistics portfolio, providing customers with greater choice and precision in temperature management. The solution supports multiple temperature bands and is backed by advanced monitoring systems, specialised handling procedures, and priority loading to minimise transit risks.

The launch comes as global pharmaceutical shipments continue to expand, driven by increased healthcare demand and the need for efficient distribution of temperature-sensitive products. Airlines are investing heavily in cold chain capabilities to meet stringent regulatory standards and ensure end-to-end visibility.

Qatar Airways Cargo said the new offering will leverage its hub in Doha, equipped with dedicated pharma handling facilities and GDP-compliant processes, to ensure seamless connectivity across key trade lanes in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Industry observers note that specialised solutions like FlexTemp are becoming critical differentiators in the competitive air cargo market, as shippers prioritise reliability, compliance, and product safety.
