    RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a work order worth ₹18.06 crore by the Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) to provide seamless offshore internet connectivity for DCI vessels and its Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC).

    The contract covers end-to-end deployment and management of offshore internet infrastructure, aimed at enhancing connectivity across DCI’s fleet operations and centralized control systems. The project is scheduled for completion by 18 January 2026.

    The company clarified that this is a domestic contract with no involvement of promoter group entities or related-party transactions, and the deal has been awarded on arm’s length terms.

    RailTel, a “Navratna” public sector enterprise, is one of India’s largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers, boasting a Pan-India optical fiber network. Dredging Corporation of India specializes in providing integrated dredging services to ports, the Indian Navy, and other maritime organizations across the country.

    On the BSE on Friday, September 19, RailTel shares closed at ₹394, down 0.91%, while DCI shares rose 1.39% to end at ₹664.40.
